Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using Koqentra (the “Service”). The Japanese version is the authoritative text.
1. Scope
These Terms apply to everyone who uses the Service. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts
Signing in to the Service uses your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and must not let anyone else use it.
3. The Service
The Service runs the workers you set up (asking an AI, watching a web page, finding recommended videos on YouTube and so on), analyzes writing (Creator), and provides related features. The content, availability and changes of external websites, and any access restrictions they apply, may mean a result is not what you expected. The results of YouTube recommendation searches and similar features are not guaranteed.
4. AI features and output
The Service uses Anthropic’s Claude API for AI generation, summarization and analysis. AI output is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for checking it and for the decisions you make with it.
5. What you provide
You must have the rights or permissions needed for what you enter and for the web pages and other targets you ask the Service to process. The Service stores and processes what you enter only as needed to provide the Service.
6. Prohibited use
When using the Service, you must not:
- break the law;
- infringe anyone else’s rights;
- gain unauthorized access to the Service or anyone else’s systems;
- interfere with the operation of the Service;
- use the Service for excessive automated access;
- misuse anyone else’s credentials;
- act in a way that harms the operator of the Service or anyone else; or
- do anything else reasonably judged inappropriate for the operation of the Service.
7. Allowances and rate limits
Each plan comes with allowances for “Workers active at once”, “AI processing”, “Manual runs” and “YouTube recommendation runs”, and with limits on how often some features can be used in a given time (rate limits). Each plan’s allowances are shown on Plans. When an allowance or rate limit is reached, use of the feature concerned is restricted.
8. Trial
The Service may offer eligible users a 14-day trial, on the conditions the Service sets. The trial is a plan of its own, not the same as Lite. Its allowances are: Workers active at once 3, AI processing 30, Manual runs 20, and YouTube recommendation runs 14.
Starting a paid plan during the trial ends the trial at that point. The remaining trial days are not carried over, and the paid plan’s allowance starts from zero.
9. Paid plans and automatic renewal
Paid plans are monthly, continuing subscriptions, renewed automatically every month from the date the subscription started. Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are shown on Plans and in the legal notice.
10. Cancellation
You can cancel a paid plan from the Stripe Billing Portal. Cancelling stops future renewals; you can keep using the paid plan until the end of the current billing period.
11. Refunds
As a rule, payments are not refunded. Duplicate charges, clear payment errors, cases where a refund is required by law, and other cases we judge necessary are handled individually.
12. Changes to and suspension of the Service
The Service may change all or part of itself, or be temporarily suspended, for maintenance, because of a fault, because of the state of an external service, because of force majeure, or for other reasons.
13. Intellectual property
Rights in the Service belong to its operator. Rights in the content you enter stay with you; the Service uses it only as needed to provide the Service.
14. Disclaimer
The Service makes no warranty, express or implied, about AI output, about the content or availability of external websites and services, or about decisions you make based on them.
15. Limitation of liability
The operator’s liability to you is limited to the extent provided by law.
16. Suspension of accounts and restriction of use
If you breach these Terms, or where it is otherwise reasonably judged necessary for operating the Service, the Service may suspend your account or restrict your use of the Service.
17. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be changed when necessary. Significant changes will be announced on the Service or by another appropriate means.
18. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute concerning the Service will be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws.
