What Koqentra receives, where it is kept, and what it does with it.
Access
Koqentra is currently offered by invitation.
What we receive when you sign in
Signing in goes through Google. Koqentra receives the account identifier Google issues for you, your email address, your name, and the URL of your profile picture. The identifier is what everything you create is filed under.
What you provide
A worker is a name, an optional description, and a prompt. A worker that watches a page also holds the public address you gave it, and one that finds recommended videos on YouTube holds the search terms you gave it. You also choose a timezone for your account, which decides both how times are displayed and when scheduled workers run.
What you send to Creator is described below. When you contact us by email, we receive what you write and the address you write from.
How it is used
To provide the service: to sign you in, to run your workers and work out when a scheduled one is next due, to process requests with AI, to send the notifications you turn on, to manage your plan and payments, to prevent misuse, to investigate faults, to improve the service, and to answer your enquiries.
Koqentra does not sell this information.
AI processing
Running a worker sends its prompt — the whole of it, with {{today}} and {{now}} already filled in — to Anthropic’s Claude API, which produces the result. Koqentra does not retry: a request that fails is recorded as a failure and the worker waits for its next turn.
The Claude API is also used to summarize a change found on a watched page (it receives the worker’s instructions and the page’s text before and after the change), to choose among new YouTube video candidates (it receives the search terms and the candidates found), and to draft a worker from your description (it receives the description you typed).
Email notifications
Email notifications are off unless you turn them on, and you turn them on for one worker at a time. While one is on, Koqentra sends a message to the address on your account — never to any other — when that worker’s run finishes or fails. Sending goes through Resend, which receives your address, the worker’s name, and up to two thousand characters of what the run produced. A message about a failed run carries no detail of the failure.
Analyzing your writing
When you ask Koqentra to analyze a piece of writing, the title and body you submit are sent to Anthropic, which decides — separately for X, Reddit and long-form — whether it is worth posting there and writes the post if it is.
That request also carries what you have told Koqentra about your audience, goals and voice, together with your most recent answers to earlier analyses — at most the last twelve, sent individually. Each of those answers can include the reason the AI gave, the post it proposed, the version you wrote if you edited it, a reason you gave if you gave one, and a short extract of the piece it was about.
When answers older than those twelve exist, the request also carries a written summary of them rather than the answers themselves. The next section describes that summary and how it is made.
When an analysis succeeds, Koqentra stores the title and body you submitted, the decision for each of the three channels, the reason for each decision, and the post text for the channels it recommended.
When you answer one of those decisions, Koqentra stores whether you agreed, rewrote it, or turned it down — along with your edited text when you rewrote it, and a reason when you gave one. The post the AI originally proposed is kept as it was written.
The summary of your older answers
Only your twelve most recent answers are sent individually. Older ones are not simply dropped: Koqentra keeps a single written summary of them, generated by Anthropic, and sends that summary with later analyses in place of the individual answers it covers.
Building and extending that summary is a second, separate request to Anthropic. It happens while an analysis you asked for is running, and it carries the previous summary when one exists together with the older answers of yours that have not been folded into it yet — the same details listed above for a recent answer. It never carries your Creator preferences, the piece you are analysing now, or your twelve most recent answers.
Older answers are incorporated a batch at a time, so if you have a long history the summary catches up over several analyses rather than all at once.
Koqentra stores the summary, the number of older answers it was built from, and a record of which of your older answers have already been incorporated into it, so that the same answer is not incorporated twice. That record identifies which of your answers have been used; it holds no copy of what you wrote.
The summary is written by an AI, not by you. It is an inference drawn from what you did, it can be wrong or incomplete, and it is not a statement you made. Your Creator preferences and your recent answers take priority over it. There is no way to edit, rebuild or delete it from inside Koqentra, and the retention limits described below apply to it as they do to everything else here.
Analyzing a page by its address
You can give Koqentra the address of a public page instead of pasting text. When you do, Koqentra’s own server makes an ordinary HTTP request to that page, from Koqentra’s network rather than from your browser. The site receives that request the way it receives any other, which normally includes the server’s address, the path asked for, and the name Koqentra identifies itself by.
Your cookies and your sign-in are not sent to that site. Koqentra does not forward any credential, cookie or authorization header from your session, and it does not use your browser to fetch the page. It follows a small number of redirects, and refuses to follow one that would drop from https to http.
Only public pages served as HTML are read. Pages that require a sign-in are not fetched, and PDFs and other file types are refused rather than guessed at.
The text read from the page and the address it was finally read from are sent to Anthropic for the analysis, together with the same preferences and recent answers described above.
When the analysis succeeds, Koqentra stores that address, the text it read, and the decisions and post text for the three channels — in the same way it stores a piece you paste in.
Koqentra does not post anything to that address, or anywhere else.
What Creator does not do
Koqentra does not post anything anywhere. It is not connected to X, Reddit, or any publishing service, and nothing it writes leaves Koqentra unless you copy it out yourself.
What an AI writes may be wrong, and it may be wrong confidently. Read it before you publish it.
Watching pages and finding recommended YouTube videos
A worker that watches a page makes an ordinary HTTP request to the public address you gave it from Koqentra’s own server, in the same way as described above for Creator, and stores the page’s text so that the next run can tell whether it changed.
A worker that finds recommended videos on YouTube sends its search terms to the YouTube Data API, provided by Google, and stores which items it has already recommended so that it does not recommend them again.
Payments
Paid plans are bought and managed through Stripe. You enter your payment details on Stripe’s own pages (Stripe Checkout and the Stripe Billing Portal); Koqentra does not receive or store your card number.
To connect a subscription to your account, Koqentra sends Stripe your Koqentra account identifier, and stores the identifiers Stripe issues for you as a customer and for your subscription, together with your plan, its state and its billing period.
Services Koqentra relies on
- Google — sign-in, and searches for YouTube recommendation workers (YouTube Data API)
- Anthropic — AI processing through the Claude API
- Stripe — payments for paid plans
- Resend — sending email notifications
- Railway — hosting the application and its database
Where it is stored
In a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway, which also hosts the application. Every time Koqentra stores is stored in UTC; a timezone changes how a time reads, never what is kept.
What a run records
Each run stores when it started, when it finished, whether it completed or failed, what the model produced, and — when it failed — the reason the failure carried.
Logs and diagnostics
When a run fails, details of the failure are written to the application’s server logs so that it can be looked into. Those logs are part of the hosting platform rather than of Koqentra.
Retention
Run history is kept until you delete the worker it belongs to. Koqentra does not expire it, and there is no period after which it is removed automatically.
The same is true of everything Creator stores — what you submitted, the decisions, the post text, and your answers. There is currently no way to delete it from inside Koqentra, and nothing removes it after a period of time. Deleting a worker does not touch it: the two are separate, and a worker knows nothing about it.
Other information, including records about your plan and payments, is kept for as long as it is needed to provide the service, or as required by law, by contract, or for operating the service.
Deleting a worker
Deleting a worker also deletes every run recorded for it. This cannot be undone, and there is no archive to restore from.
It does not delete anything from Creator. Those are kept under your account rather than under any worker.
Deleting your account
There is currently no way to delete your whole account from within Koqentra. Deleting each of your workers removes those workers and their run history. It does not remove anything Creator holds, and there is no in-product way to remove that.
Keeping it safe
Koqentra takes reasonable measures to protect the information it holds against loss, misuse and unauthorized access.
Access, correction and deletion
To ask what Koqentra holds about you, or to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, contact us at the address below. Requests are handled by hand, since some of them have no in-product way to be carried out.
Cookies
Koqentra uses the cookies needed to provide the service, such as the ones that keep you signed in. It does not use cookies or tracking for advertising.
Availability
Koqentra may be temporarily unavailable, and scheduled runs may be missed, because of maintenance, faults, the state of external services, or other reasons.
About AI output
What a worker produces comes from an AI model and may be wrong. Please do not rely on it as the only basis for an important decision.
